Financial Manager
Lucia holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Valencia and a BA with Honors in Business Administration from the University of Hertfordshire. She also holds an Executive MBA from IE and has completed a Symposium at Babson College for Educators in Entrepreneurship. She is currently working on her PhD in Economics.
She has more than 17 years of experience in Finance, Strategy, Business Development, Accounting and Operations. She is currently the Director of EDEM Business School and Adjunct Professor at IE Business School. She spent five years as a third-party auditor in a ‘Big Four’ and then as an internal auditor in a German multinational. She has in-depth accounting and finance knowledge. Her specialist fields are Strategy, Business Development, Finance and Internal Audit. She has an international professional background having worked in countries such as the UK, Germany and Peru.
